DepoFlow billing is pay as you go. The account is free, the software is free to download, and no subscription or per-seat license is required. Sync jobs consume credits even though processing runs locally; each sync has a one-credit minimum.
What a Credit Is
A credit costs $5.00, and one credit covers one hour of video time on a sync job. Jobs are billed in 0.1-hour increments, rounded up, with a one-hour minimum per sync — a 2 hour 15 minute video bills as 2.3 credits, and your statement shows exactly that math.
Buying Credits
Buy credits from the Billing page (web) or Settings → Billing (desktop), checked out securely through Stripe. Credits belong to your firm's shared wallet, are not tied to a seat, and never expire.
Buying at Submit
If a job needs more credits than your wallet holds, purchase the shortfall online before submitting. When offline, a new sync needs sufficient available credits unless your firm has an expressly granted billing allowance.
For Litigation Teams: The $99 Review Unlock
On the review side, viewing and searching a synced deposition in DepoFlow Designate is free. Creating designations and exporting clips is a one-time $99 unlock per transcript, and one unlock covers everyone at your firm.

Failures and Repeated Jobs
Review the charge shown before submitting or re-syncing. Do not assume that retries or revised transcripts are free. Contact support about a failed job or an unexpected charge.
Keeping an Eye on Usage
Settings → Billing shows your balance and current-period usage, and the web Desktop Jobs page shows billing per job — so there are no surprises at month end.
