Not every recipient has trial-presentation software — or DepoFlow. The HTML — Standalone Viewer export solves that: it packages the synced video and transcript into a self-contained viewer that opens in any modern browser. Nothing to install, no account needed, works on a laptop with no internet connection.
What Recipients Get
- Side-by-side video and synchronized transcript — the video follows the text as it plays.
- Click-to-jump navigation — clicking any transcript line jumps the video to that exact moment.
- A single folder they can keep on a laptop, a shared drive, or a USB stick.
Generate the Export
- Open the synced transcript and open the Export menu.
- Choose HTML — Standalone Viewer. The transcript must have a synced video — the viewer is built around it.
- The export is prepared in the background; larger videos take longer. When it is ready you get a download link for the .zip.
- Send the .zip to your recipient. They unzip it and double-click the HTML file inside — the viewer opens in their default browser.
Download Links Expire
Export download links are valid for 24 hours. The export itself does not disappear — you can generate a fresh link any time.
When to Use It
The HTML viewer is ideal for opposing counsel, clients, experts, and co-counsel who just need to watch and read — anyone who does not live in TrialDirector or Sanction. For teams loading testimony into trial software, use the dedicated load-file formats instead.
