Opening an Existing Sync File or DVT Bundle

A finished sync is portable. Whether a teammate handed you a bundle, you moved to a different workstation, or you deleted a job and kept the deliverable, you can open the finished product without redoing any work.

Use Open Sync File

1. Click Open Sync File in the desktop app's top bar.
2. Select either a DepoFlow bundle (.zip) — the DVT Bundle you delivered — or a raw sync.json file from a job's folder.
3. The sync opens directly in the viewer. Nothing is re-transcribed or re-aligned — the existing sync data is used as-is.

When to Reach for It

• Handoffs — a videographer runs the sync, an attorney opens the bundle on their own machine to review.
• Second workstation — review at your desk what you synced on a laptop at the deposition.
• Recovery — reopen the deliverable for a job you have since cleaned out of the app.
