Do I have to upload my videos to the cloud?
No — there is no cloud upload. The desktop app processes everything locally: transcription, sync, designation, and rendering all run on your machine, and your video, audio, and transcript text stay there.
How accurate is the transcription?
DepoFlow uses highly accurate speech recognition tuned for the conversational legal audio you get from a deposition or hearing — and it runs entirely on your machine. Every finished sync also gets a quality score, so you know it's ship-ready before you deliver.
What vendor transcript formats do you accept?
The major ones — .mdb, .cms, .ptx, .txt, and the synced packages from Veritext, Esquire, US Legal, and most regional vendors. If your reporter ships it, we'll align it to the video.
Does it really work offline?
Yes — that's the whole point. After the initial install, the desktop app does not need internet for sync, designation, or clip rendering. Your account reconciles job status and billing the next time you connect.
