DepoFlow Sync aligns a reporter's transcript to a deposition recording on your computer. The synced viewer lets recipients search testimony and navigate by page and line.
1. Install and Set Up Your Account
Available now for Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 13 or later. Windows and Intel Mac installers are not currently available. Download DepoFlow Sync, create a free account, and approve device pairing. Obtain sufficient credits and install any additional model before going offline.
2. Add the Recording and Transcript
Choose New Sync, select a matter, and add the matching files. Use a page-and-line TXT transcript for your first job. Verify the imported page numbers and line breaks against the reporter's source.
3. Run Local Sync
Submit the job, then choose Run Local Sync from its action menu. Speech recognition supplies timing information for alignment. Processing and any required video encoding depend on recording length, model, and hardware.
4. Review the Timing
Use the sync score to identify passages that need attention. Check lines against the recording across the transcript, including important testimony and any planned clip boundaries. A green score is not a guarantee.
5. Deliver the Viewer Bundle
Choose Create View Bundle. Send the ZIP using your normal delivery channel. Recipients unzip it, keep the DepoFlow View file and video in the same folder, and open the HTML file in a modern desktop browser.
Preparing for Review
For designation work in DepoFlow Designate, supply compatible synced transcript data, such as sync.json, and the matching video separately. Review does not import the browser viewer ZIP directly. Viewing is free; a separate $99 per-transcript unlock enables designations and clip export across the firm.
