Once testimony is designated, DepoFlow can render the actual video you would play: it resolves each page/line designation to its exact timecodes, cuts those segments from the synced video, and stitches them into a single MP4 in order.
Export the Clips
- Open the transcript in the viewer and make sure your designations are in place — individually, in bulk, or from an uploaded designation list.
- Choose Export MP4 and select which designations or designation set to include.
- The render runs in the background — cutting and stitching a long deposition takes a few minutes. When it finishes, you get a download link for the MP4.
Companion Exports
- Export Designation PDF — a clean PDF of the designated testimony for briefs and meet-and-confers.
- Designation List (.txt) — the plain page/line list for exchange with opposing counsel.
Timing Comes from the Sync
Clip accuracy is only as good as the sync. Check the transcript's Sync Quality score before rendering clips — a green score means the cuts land exactly on the testimony.
